These eclipses only come once or twice a lifetime, so we for sure had to check it out. It wasn't a total eclipse here in Globe, just partial, but we were watching live streams of our friends in Idaho, and the sun was totally blocked! The sunlight was gone for a couple of minutes, and it was so cool! Avery thought it was fun, and so I kept her home from school to check it out. Brooklyn didn't give a crap, so off to school she went!
Before we looked at the eclipse, we had to for sure get our eclipse swag on
Priorities!
Then we drove up to the church and met up with some friends. We had our cool safety glasses of course!
It was pretty neat and pretty fun. I love it when things like this happen. It just makes the world happier!

I don't think you thought it was that cool, because you are 3, but this will happen again when you are around 70 I guess, so enjoy, I will be gonzo by then!
